Welcome to Little Browsers Nursery for 2 and 3 year olds!
We are a happy, thriving Nursery community for the youngest children in our school family, within the heart of Cinnamon Brow.
We share the school's vision from Jeremiah 29:11 and believe that God has a good and special plan for each of us.
Little Browsers welcomes children aged two and three before they begin our onsite Pre-school nursery. We are known as Dublin class within the school and work closely with our Pre-school (London Class), as well as our two recepton classes (Cardiff and Edinburgh). We believe that every child deserves the best start in life, creating opportunities to help enable each child to reach their full potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and five can have a major impact on their future life chances. We provide high-quality early years education, centred around each individual child and form a strong partnership between home and school.
If you have any questions or would like more information about our nursery provision, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for considering Cinnamon Brow Nursery,

What we are doing:
Our topics this term are 'Winter' followed by 'Farm Animals'.
We will begin with our role play area as a Winter wonderland, giving the children opportunities to explore ice, snow and the different artic animals. Some of the books we will be looking at are books about Snowmen and 'Rabbits in the Snow' by Natalie Russell which is a book all about opposites.
We will then change our role play into a farm shop and explore different farm animals. Some of our key texts will be 'Old MacDonald had a farm' illustrated by Pam Adams and 'I went Walking' by Sue Williams where we will explore the wonderful world around us. We will also be singing 'Old MacDonald had a farm' together.
Why not click on the links above to watch the stories being read and talk about them together?
We will also be following Phase One Phonics from the Letters and Sounds programme, along with Word Aware, to help develop your child's early phonics, listening and speaking skills.
Have fun!
