Welcome to our Pre-school Nursery

We are a happy, thriving Nursery community within the heart of Cinnamon Brow.

We share the school's vision from Jeremiah 29:11 and believe that God has a good and special plan for each of us.

Cinnamon Brow Pre-school welcomes children aged three and four for their full year of nursery provision before they begin reception class.  We are known as London class within the school and work closely with Little Browsers (Dublin Class), our two and three year old onsite provison, as well as our two recepton classes (Cardiff and Edinburgh).  We believe that every child deserves the best start in life, creating opportunities to help enable each child to reach their full potential.  Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and five can have a major impact on their future life chances.  We provide high-quality early years education, centred around each individual child and form a strong partnership between home and school.

If you have any questions or would like more information about our nursery provision, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for considering Cinnamon Brow Nursery,

Mrs Bate

Our Learning Environment

We are proud of our engaging and exciting learning environments both inside and outside.  Thanks to the generous contributions of our parents and friends, our new outdoor area, Cinnamon Stix, has provided a wonderful enhancement to our children's learning.  Your child will have the opportunity to choose to do their learning inside and outside each day, so please ensure they are wearing clothing appropriate to the weather!  We believe each child is special and design our activities to help promote their confidence, resilience, uniqueness and self-esteem.  We see learning as an adventure ....and sometimes, adventures can be messy!  Your child will need wellies and a change of clothes with their name on to be kept in Nursery all week, alongside nappies if needed.  Thank you!

Snack

We offer a varied and healthy snack each session.  Your child will always have access to a piece of fruit each day and a choice of milk or water.  We will often offer hot chocolate on Welly Wednesdays too! Please see an example snack menu - please note there is a small charge for snack each term (see us for details).

Phonics teaching

In Nursery, we intentionally teach maths and phonics daily, following the Little Wandle phase 1 phonics programme, along with Word Aware and Helicopter Story sessions.    Follow the link to our 'What have we been doing' page for more information.

Heart Smart with Boris the robot

Boris the robot helps us learn all about how to keep our hearts healthy and how to be heart smart in everything we do. We love singing about his values in our very special Boris the Robot song.
