Christ Church, Padgate
Active Church
Active Church is an all age worship and activity service which takes place on the second Sunday of every month, commencing at 10:30am. Parents and children take part in interesting yet simple activities which are followed by a relaxed and friendly act of worship. Come along and enjoy the fellowship. You will be made very welcome.
Tea and Coffee are available after the service, and if you wish to stay, the morning is completed by a short, yet uplifting, Holy Communion service, to which all are more than welcome.
Cinnamon Brow Collective takes place at Cinnamon Brow CE School, once a month for 'Messy Church'.
Messy Church is church for all the family, with games, crafts, songs, Bible stories and food!
Our linked church is Christ Church in Padgate.
Reverend Neil and Reverend Simon (Church Collective) come into school regularly for Collective Worship. We are very pleased that they will be holding confirmation classes for our Year 6 children that choose to do so.
Each half term, Reverend Neil and the school jointly plan and deliver a special worship in Church or the school hall. The children are actively involved in the services. These include Harvest, Easter and Christmas.
Family Services are held at the Church on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month and the families of the school are actively encouraged to attend. These are special family services: Active Church and Space Service.
