Active Church - Christ Church, Padgate
Active Church is an all age worship and activity service which takes place on the second Sunday of every month, commencing at 10:30am. Parents and children take part in interesting yet simple activities which are followed by a relaxed and friendly act of worship. Come along and enjoy the fellowship. You will be made very welcome.
Tea and Coffee are available after the service, and if you wish to stay, the morning is completed by a short, yet uplifting, Holy Communion service, to which all are more than welcome.
Our linked church is Christ Church in Padgate.
Reverend Simon (Church Collective) and Reverand Emma come into school regularly for Collective Worship. They also support our Year 5 and 6 pupils with their understanding of confirmation and each year hold confirmation classes for our Year 6 children that choose to do so.
Each half term, Reverands Simon and Emma and the school jointly plan and deliver a special worship in Church or the school hall. The children are actively involved in the services. These include Harvest, Easter and Christmas.
A Family Service (Active Church) is held at the Church on the 2nd Sunday of each month and the families of the school are actively encouraged to attend.
Stay & Praise Church Collective
LifeChurch - Cinnamon Brow
LifeChurch meet each Sunday in our School Hall at 11am.
During the service you can expect engaging Bible teaching, times of worship, prayer and reflection and communion. The service is for everyone and people are free to participate or just watch and listen as they feel comfortable.
After a time of worship, the children and young people leave the service for their own teaching and activities. Kids church is for primary school aged children (school years reception to year 6). Youth sessions are for young people at secondary school (school years 7-11).
For the very little ones (0-3 years) there is a parent-led creche area with an audio feed from the service.
Coffee & Chat
Run by a former parent who is a member of Life Church, coffee & chat is an opportunity for parents / carers to come together and build friendships.
There are toys out for pre-school children to play with. Alongside this, Mrs Bate, our nursery teacher, jcomes along to sing worship songs with the children as part of the session.
Juice Club
In association with LifeChurch Warrington, every Friday children are invited to attend a free afterschool club for all primary aged children. This takes place in the school hall.
There is music, games, craft and activities for all children to get involved in with a key focus on learning more about Jesus.
