The children explore scientific theories and then make predictions. They learn by conducting experiments to find out for themselves how the world works. Here, they were exploring air resistance, finding ways to make the parachute travel more slowly.
When year 2 were learning about healthy eating and hygiene, they also explored how hospitals have changed over the last 200 years. They conducted a little experiment to see what role soap plays in keeping us clean.
