What does a parents forum do?

Being part of a parents forum gives you the opportunity to influence the future direction of the school.  A key part of this work is reviewing the parent survey results each year and working through the areas for development with the school.

In addition,  the parents forum is a way of representing the voice of parents by sharing suggestions and issues that are important to parents.  This could include suggestions around uniform, trips / visitors, events, sharing of information and communication.

How do I get involved?

If you can join us at parents forum meetings, that would be great.  We are eager for some further members, particular from Years 4 upwards.

Current members: Amie Clarke, Hayley Lord, Ellen O'Hayton, Katarzyna Rafalowska and Jenny Wells. We meet with members of the school leadership team.

We meet for 1 hour each half term.  The next meeting is Monday 13th July @ 5pm.

When is the next meeting?

Monday 13th July @ 5pm (for 1 hour)

We will be looking at the new government guidelines for uniforms and considering the options for uniform moving forwards in preparation for surveying parents. So, if you would like to be involved in discussions around the future of the school uniform, please do come along or share your suggestions via the email: feedback@cinnamonbrow.org.uk.

You said, we discussed...

We are working towards sharing more photographs and information about learning via class dojo.

Parents will be asked to agree to share photographs of their children via this app.  We will also share a policy with guidelines for use by parents and carers.

1 or 2 posts per week will be shared per class across the school.

We have discussed as a staff body how we can support this further.

We have refreshed the dojo rewards that children can choose once they achieve 100, 200 and 300 dojo totals.

We will also introduce a class dojo reward that can collectively be earned.

We have some ideas for the car parking situation - none of them are quick fixes unfortunately.

We are looking at working with Warrington Borough Council to explore a side gate entrance to the school and a 'way in, way out' for the car park.

We would value any further suggestions from parents.
